We have had a sudden increase in Parvo in the last couple of weeks with the main concentration of cases being seen in Condobolin.

📆Please ensure your pet is up-to-date with their ANNUAL vaccination and that your puppy has had its full course of vaccinations up to 16 weeks of age.

REMEMBER: Parvovirus can live in the ground for up to 10years and can be spread on your shoes/car tyres!

𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘆𝗺𝗽𝘁𝗼𝗺𝘀 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲 (but aren't limited too):
- Vomiting
- Diarrhoea (often bloody)
- Lethargy
- Loss of appetite
- Fever
If your pet shows any of these symptoms, seek veterinary care immediately, mortality rate for parvo is high as 91% when left untreated and most deaths occur 48-72hours after onset of symptoms.
