🎨 ART ON SHOW!

St Laurence's Hall became a cultural hub of art enthusiasts, classical music, wine and cheese, with parents, students and friends attending our Stage 3 Christmas Storytelling Art Exhibition on Wednesday night. Our talented Stage 3 artists were very excited to show off their amazing artworks to our school community. Congratulations to our finalists, whose artworks will now be displayed for judging at the diocesan level!

❤️ Celebrating Love and Wisdom on Grandparents Day!

Our Grandparents Day celebration was a truly special occasion - a beautiful liturgy filled with heartfelt prayers and deep appreciation for the important place grandparents hold in our lives. It was wonderful to welcome so many visitors into our school, creating moments of connection, joy and gratitude that will be long remembered. Following the liturgy, families enjoyed a relaxed and sunny picnic morning tea (subsidised by the P&F), where young and old came together to share stories, smiles and plenty of hugs. To all our incredible grandparents - thank you for the love, wisdom and warmth you bring. You are treasured more than words can say!

✨ Collaborate. Inspire. Flourish. ✨

Every day in our school community, we see the amazing things that happen when we work together.

When we collaborate, we build stronger connections and shared ideas.
When we inspire one another, we unlock potential and encourage creativity.
And when we do both, our whole community begins to flourish - learning, growing, and achieving together.

Here’s to supporting each other and reaching new heights every step of the way! 🌟

👟 Northern Region Carnival Highlights

Yesterday’s Northern Region Athletics Carnival was held in some brisk conditions - sunny, with a fresh wind that kept everyone cool! Despite the breezy weather, there were plenty of smiles, strong spirits, and incredible effort from our students. They gave their best in both track and field events, and we’re so proud of the way they represented our school.

💨🌬️Year 6 Powers Up With Wind Energy!

Our Year 6 students put their engineering caps on as part of their science unit on Electricity! They explored how wind turbines harness renewable energy and applied the design process to create and test their very own turbine blades. It was fantastic to see them conducting fair tests, problem-solving, and bringing sustainable energy concepts to life!

👨‍🍳🥣 Whip Up Some Fun In Our New Mud Kitchen!

Last week, our students had a blast cooking up imaginative sand-and-water creations thanks to a fantastic new Mud Kitchen donated by our amazing P&F Association! Expertly set up alongside a newly redeveloped sandpit area completed by McNamara Landscaping over the school holidays, this fresh setup has quickly become one of the most popular playground spots at recess and lunch. We are so grateful to our P&F and every parent whose fundraising support continues to enrich our students' everyday play!

🎒📚 Back for Term 3!

The smiles said it all on the first day back for Term 3! Students were full of energy as they reconnected with friends and enjoyed being back in the playground together. We're ready for a great term of learning ahead!

✨ Living the Spirit of Jesus ✨

All classes across our school had a special visit from Peter ‘Mitch’ Mitchell, author of the MJR books! Mitch spent time with every grade discussing how we can make Jesus real in our everyday lives - simply by showing the 'Spirit of Jesus' in the way we greet, treat, and speak to others. The students also explored how important it is to recognise and appreciate the 'Spirit of Jesus' when we see it in those around us.
