๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ‘Ÿ On Track And Giving It Their All

Our recent Athletics Carnival was an absolute highlight, packed with fantastic energy, sportsmanship, and school spirit! From the marching and sprints to the long jump, high jump, discus, and shot put, our students showed incredible determination across every single event. We loved seeing everyone give it a red-hot go and absolutely treasured cheering them on from the sidelines!

โœจ Community & Faith at Meet 4 Mass!

We loved seeing our students and families come together today at St Brigid's Church for our school Meet 4 Mass. Our students did a wonderful job actively participating in the liturgy by reading the prayers of intercession and leading the offertory procession. It was truly lovely to share this special time of community with so many of our school families.

๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿซ Executive Director Visits St Laurence's

We recently welcomed CEDB Executive Director of Schools, Christina Trimble, to St Laurenceโ€™s for a wonderful visit to our school community. Christina spent time exploring our classrooms, noting our students' great engagement and the positive atmosphere across the school. It was also a great opportunity to show her our upcoming building works - including the new Wellbeing Hub and upgraded Year 4 spaces - as we look forward to finalising these contemporary spaces for our children very soon.

๐Ÿค๐Ÿ’ Community Spirit Shines Bright

A heartfelt thank you goes out to the incredible students in Years 1 and 2. They went above and beyond by taking on chores in their own homes to raise funds and purchase essential items for the Vinnies Winter Appeal. The Religion Ministry SRC members from each of these years had the honour of presenting the donations. Janine Kearney, a St Vincent de Paul Society volunteer in Dubbo, graciously accepted the donated kettles and toasters at our school assembly. Together, we are making a difference in our community.

๐Ÿ“ Year 5 Sentence Success!

Our Year 5 students have been working incredibly hard to level up their writing by mastering compound and complex sentences! While coordinating and subordinating conjunctions were tricky at first, a huge thank you goes to Mrs Corby for creating beautiful, bright classroom displays to guide us. Now, our students have the perfect tool right on the wall to help them choose the best words to make their writing exciting, engaging, and vibrant!

๐Ÿ–ผ๏ธ Showcasing Student Masterpieces

The Principal's Feature Artist Wall proudly exhibits the artwork of one student from each class, carefully chosen to be showcased in the Principal's office. With each term, the artwork is rotated, giving various students the opportunity to have their masterpieces beautifully framed and prominently displayed for all to appreciate. The beaming smiles on these students' faces reflected their immense pride in seeing their artwork celebrated and admired by others.
