Kidscape Early Learning Centre will be closed on Monday 8th June 2026 for the Public Holiday.

🎨 The wet weather may keep us indoors, but it certainly doesn’t stop the fun and learning at Kidscape!

🧩Recently, our Bottlebrush friends have been busy exploring a variety of engaging table activities designed to spark creativity, curiosity and learning.

🫯 Rainy days provide a wonderful opportunity for children to slow down, connect with one another and engage in meaningful learning experiences. We love seeing their imaginations shine, no matter the weather!

1️⃣ What do you love most about working with children across the different studios at Kidscape?

✨ What I love most is watching each child grow and hit their milestones and just seeing them having fun as they play and explore their environments.

2️⃣ How do you support children of varying ages as they grow in confidence and independence?

✨ I support children grow in confidence and independence by allowing them to explore and problem solve things by themselves, but I also let them know I am there if they need some help in achieving that goal.

3️⃣ What is your favourite activity or learning experience to do with children?

✨ I love sensory trays as they allow children to explore different textures and items through touch, smell and taste.

4️⃣ How do you encourage curiosity and exploration when working across a range of studios?

✨ I encourage children's curiosity and exploration by engaging with them in variety of different activities and also by asking them open-ended questions.

5️⃣ What is one thing you hope every child feels when they see you, no matter which studio you are supporting in?

✨One thing I hope every child feels when they see me is a sense of safety and joy.

A chilly start to the morning didn’t stop the Under 7’s Gold St John's Dubbo JRLFC team from getting out there and giving it their all!

We love seeing our support out on the field and watching these young players enjoy the game, build their skills and represent their club with pride.

🌿 Connected Beginnings – Families Welcome! 🌿

Connected Beginnings is inviting all new and upcoming families with children starting school in 2027 to a free community event on Friday 29th May 2026 from 10am–2pm at the West Dubbo Public School SaCC Centre.

This event is a wonderful opportunity for families to connect with local schools, services and community supports while learning more about preparing children for school. Families can access information around wellbeing, parenting support, education and learning opportunities, cultural activities and community connections.

Everyone is welcome to come along, meet new people and explore the supports available to help children and families thrive as they begin their school journey.
