This picture makes me smile everytime I look at it. 8 months on he still pulls it out at home to look at himself and his friends together.

All year the children pull out their folders to look over their adventures. They help decide which masterpieces they created go in and which go home and enjoy retelling the story of what they were doing in the pictures. These portfolios are so much more than a "requirement." They are a memory, a snapshot of how much happens in a year. They bring joy to the childern and give them a sense of belonging and community

288+ observations, summative assessments and trainsitions to school done! Approx 200 hours worth of work outside of work.

I think I could cry with tears of joy. But its all been worth it. Have had the best and most fun year with all my daycare children and their families. Have been truly blessed and they have created many life long besties.

Last weekend we celebrated what an amazing year we have had with our annual Christmas party. Couple of surprises made for very happy children. So blessed to have had these beautiful children this year ❤

Wow what a way to take out my first year of business. 4 nominations and an award for Truthworthy Educator 😊

I am so overwhelmed by the love and support I have received. I am truely grateful for the children I have and have thoroughly enjoyed being in partnership with their families to help develop them to their full potential. Thankyou for being on this learning journey with me xx

Come rest time today we all still had a bit too much energy. I knew trying to get them to lay would be a mission so we moved our beds outside for something different. The scenery change was enough to encourage even the non-sleepers to rest. We listened to the cars, wind and the birds while the younger ones drifted off to sleep 🥰🥰

WELCOME TO THE TEAM
Danielle (Dani) joined the team a few weeks ago as an assistant educator. From early next year Dani will become a secondary educator. This means that whenever I'm sick or away on holidays Dani will take over in my absence. This has been an important goal for me to help prevent families from being forced to take time off work because I am unavailable.

Dani comes with a lot of experience with children and has a massive heart and passion for our next generation. She understands the importance the early years have on their future.

Dani is married with 3 young children – 8 years, 4 years and almost 2 years old. She ran her own family daycare for a few years before starting her own family. Dani is the second eldest of 10 children and currently has 18 nieces and nephews so she always been surrounded by children and loves it!

Dani regularly volunteers at her schools canteen and at Suncity Christian Centre helping to run the children's program on Sunday's. She also runs mainly music on Tuesday mornings.

Although I am extremely grateful and feel very blessed to already have a large waitlist. It is so difficult to have to let down potential families. I wish I could fit everyone in!

I am now currently taking names for 2023 waitlist.

I had so much fun watching the children get creative this morning! These children LOVE imaginative play so when I said they could make anything their minds went wild. You could see their brains ticking.

It was so beautiful watching them share the materials and tools. They were faced with challenges and worked out solutions for them. They asked for assistance or ideas and each of their friends were quick to help out.

Craft helps children to:
♡ improve their coordination and fine motor skills
♡ express themselves
♡ become more creative and productive
♡ think critically
♡ socialise

Using recycled materials helps children to:
♡ think about sustainability
♡ reuse and repurpose perviously unwanted items
♡ use their imagination about what else the item could be

Yoga has so many benefits from emotional wellbeing to physical fitness. Seeing the younger babies copying and learning from the older children was so beautiful to watch
