A reminder to all Year 9 parents, a very important information night about transitioning to Year 10 at another school is happening tomorrow night.

Tomorrow & Thursday our Year 7 - 9 students will complete their mid year exams in the gym. A reminder to families that students need to be at school before 9am ready to go. Some tips to help at home .... Students should stop studying by 8pm and get to bed early, plan a healthy breakfast for the morning and wake up with enough time to get ready and be at school at 8:45am. Bring a full water bottle and some spare pens. Don't stress about the exams, they are just a culmination of everything you've learnt in class this year and have revised over the past few weeks. Siting exams from the start of Year 7 helps introduce students to what VCE will be like, and setting good routines to do their best will usually prevent Year 11 & 12 feeling super stressed and overwhelming. You've got this!

A reminder to parents of Prep to Year 2 students, the parent information session on phonics and how to help your child from home is running TODAY after school in the Year 2 classrooms. Please come along and pick up some important information on how to help your child with homework and reading.

The Foodbank is bringing its Food Bus bus to Doveton College on Wednesday 10th June. Bookings are now open for families to come and collect groceries to support their family.

Only one booking per family is allowed to ensure as many families as possible can benefit. Duplicate bookings will be removed.
Please provide your children’s family name, and the number of people in your household.
The person booked to come must show photo identification when arriving at the bus.

A reminder that this coming Friday 22 May is a curriculum day for both the school and ELC. Staff in all sectors will be attending PD.

Happy Mothers Day to all the Mums, Grandmothers, Birth mums, adoptive mums, aunts, foster mums and soon to be mums. We love an appreciate all you are doing to raise and love the children at our College and hope you can find a moment to relax and feel the love today.
We also think of those who haven't got their mum around on this special day, those who haven't yet been able to become a mum, and those who have a difficult relationship with their mother and acknowledge that today can be a difficult day.

A reminder to parents that Friday 22 May is a College wide curriculum day. Both the ELC and the School will be closed as staff participate in professional development.

Mothers & Others Day Stall is running Thursday 7th and Friday 8th May for any students that want to buy a special something for their mum or special person in their lives.

All items are between $1 - $6 and staff will bring their class over as per the timetable below.

Thursday - Prep, Year 2, 4, 5, 7 & ELC
Friday - Year 1, 3, 6, 8, 9 & ELC

Please send the money in an envelope/ziplock bag with the child's name, and a bag to hide their special gifts.
