Established in 2006, Whittlesea Music has provided quality musical education with a team of professional teachers for over 14 years.
We pride ourselves in ensuring our students gain a passion and enthusiasm for music, and an appreciation and understanding of musical theory and techniques in a range of styles.

Whittlesea Music provides instrumental lessons to a wide range of schools based in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne in Doreen, Mernda, Hurstbridge and South Morang.

Whittlesea Music is looking for a new Piano teacher to join our wonderful school who shares our core values and ethos.
We currently have a position opening for immediate start at one of our schools Gilson College on a Tuesday from 9 am until 3 and Thursday (with flexible to change day of teaching) at Morang South Primary from 9 am until 2 with potential to teach at other locations also.
That the successful candidate is able to help promote and grow our program within our schools by creating a positive environment for students to work in.
Teachers able to teach one or more instruments are welcome to apply.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic teacher that has the passion to teach music.
We are currently looking for a teacher on multiple days with also the opportunity to expand at other schools on other days for both day teaching and further afternoon/ evenings.

With the potential of teaching up to 5 to 6 hours a day with base rate of $30 per hr plus super.
Uni students with a stable timetable is welcome for part time work around their study.

We are looking for a teacher who fits the following criteria:
Passionate about music & performing while making it fun.
is punctual & well presentable.
is self-motivated and a cheerful personality
is polite and respectful to other members of our staff and our primary schools staff.

The successful applicant should:
have teaching experience but not essential
be highly proficient in music theory, music exams with knowledge of music industry.
have a valid Working With Children's Check or VIT
have a valid Driver's License
