🖍 GIVE WRITE RETURNS 🖍

Now school is over its time to sort out the stationery!

The City's Waste Education team has once again partnered with Give Write to repurpose school stationery.

Give Write is a not-for-profit group taking donations of new and pre-loved school stationery to recycle, repackage and re-gift to WA kids who might start the school year with nothing.

As well as helping local families, the program is also aimed at promoting recycling to reduce landfill among numerous other benefits.

Donations will be accepted at the City's Administration Building and at Milligan. from 11 December until the last week of January.

The following items will be accepted:
🔵 Blue, black and red pens
🟢 Coloured pencils
🟡 Twist-up crayons
🟠 Erasers
🔴 Pencil cases
🔵 Artline pens
🟢 Unused exercise books
🟡 Lead pencils
🟠 Textas
🔴 Rulers
🔵 Sharpeners
🟢 Glue sticks
🟡 Highlighters
🟠 Calculators

A sorting day has been confirmed for 3pm Thursday 18 January at Milligan - volunteers will be most welcomed!
