The Year 1s had so much fun today in their Mini-Beasts incursion feeding butterflies, making warning bracelets, hunting for crickets and viewing them under a microscope, as well as getting up close with a yabby and stick insect! 🐞🐛🐜 A big thank you to Labcoat Learning for providing such a fun, hands-on learning experience for our Year One students! 😊

What an amazing three days our Year 3 and 4 students had at Camp Manyung! They enjoyed two nights away, packed with adventure, fun and plenty of memorable moments. Highlights included the giant swing and flying fox, bike skills, and ‘Rock Pool Ramble’ at the beach... made even more memorable by the very chilly conditions! Students also loved staying in cabins with their friends, creating lots of opportunities for laughter, teamwork and shared experiences.

A HUGE thank you just go to our six wonderful parent helpers, Scott, Ian, Mandy, Tanjil, Erin and Lynda, our Education Support staff, Kirstie, George and Dean, Mrs Ridgway and Mr Verity, and our Year 3/4 teachers. Thank you all for giving your time, energy and care to make this camp such a fantastic experience for everyone. It was a trip full of challenges, friendships, courage and fun that our students will remember for a long time to come!

✨ Principal Appreciation Day ✨

Happy Principal’s Day to Mrs Ridgway and Mr Verity! How lucky the Dingley P.S. community is to have such kind, caring, supportive and dedicated leaders.

Today, Mrs Ridgway and Mr Verity have enjoyed reading words of gratitude from EVERY student in the school-it made their day reading all of the personalised messages.

They were also spoilt with gifts and morning tea from the teachers!

Thank you to our amazing community for your generous support of our 👖Jeans for Genes Day fundraiser today! 🥰💙 💛 Thanks to your kindness, we raised an incredible $431.20! This is a fantastic result for such a worthy cause. All funds have been donated to the Children's Medical Research Institute (CMRI) to support their vital research into childhood genetic diseases and help improve the lives of children and their families.

What a magical day celebrating our incredible Prep students reaching 100 days of school! 🎉

The day was filled with smiles from start to finish as we welcomed our parents and special guests for a morning of fun activities. From there, the celebrations continued with a silent disco dance party 🪩💃🕺, a screening of 101 Dalmatians and a special lunch with our Year 6 buddies!

It's hard to believe how much our Prep students have grown in just 100 days. We are so proud of everything they've achieved and can't wait to see what the rest of the year brings.

A huge thank you to our wonderful Prep team for creating such a MAGICAL day for our youngest learners.

Our Year 6 students had a wonderful day at the Immigration Museum and Sandridge Bridge, exploring the stories of migration.

Through interactive activities, historical artefacts and museum exhibits, students learnt about the experiences of migrants, reflected on the challenges they faced, and made connections to their own family histories. The visit to Sandridge Bridge provided a powerful insight into the many individual stories that have helped shape modern Victoria. It was a fantastic day of learning, reflection and discovery!

Our Year 4 Inventor's Expo was a fantastic celebration of creativity, innovation and problem solving!

After weeks of planning, designing, testing and refining their ideas, our students proudly showcased their inventions to families, staff and students from Years 3 and 5. It was wonderful to see them confidently explain their design process and demonstrate their creations while answering thoughtful questions from visitors.

A big thank you to our families and everyone who came along to support our young inventors. We are so proud of the imagination, dedication and hard work shown by all of our Year 4 students! 💡👏
