THE CIRCUS IS COMING TO DSS!

The Cyber-Safe Circus isn’t just a lesson; it’s a spectacular live show adventure in which students join Heidi in the circus to learn valuable digital skills through captivating circus acts and fun interactions.

The aim is to equip children with the knowledge to keep them safe, secure and responsible online, no matter what the digital world they are navigating. Stepping into the Cyber Safety Circus Arena students will be guided by the Ringmaster through their epic zany adventures.

They’ll team up with other circus characters and overcome challenges, juggle online friendships, escape cyber bullying, spot scams and fakes, protect passwords, walk the tightrope to avoid digital footprints and ultimately claim the prize of being part of the safest cyber circus of all time!

Cyber Safe Circus offers engaging, fun to learn, easy to remember strategies for students to play smart and stay safe, in any digital environment.

After the performance, follow up with your students is made easy with references throughout the show to the Australian Curriculum, the e-Safety Commission and other State Services and Resources.

Students discovered more about the Moon, stars, planets and the amazing universe beyond our planet. It was a fantastic opportunity for students of all ages to learn, wonder and ask questions about the world above us. πŸš€πŸŒ™

🍑 Year 5/6 Marshmallow Tower Challenge πŸ—οΈ

Our Year 5/6 students recently showcased their creativity and teamwork during an exciting Marshmallow Tower Challenge! Using marshmallows and other materials, students collaborated to design and construct the tallest free-standing structures, developing their problem-solving skills and having a fantastic time in the process. A fun, hands-on challenge with some very impressive results! πŸ‘πŸ‘
