To everyone who brought tickets in Jacks Raffle we would like to say a big thankyou, we raised $1900. The live feed has been removed due to a hiccup with the prizes and trying sort the prizes.. If you were watching the live feed and won a 2 for 1 coffee voucher, these have now been voided due to a circumstance beyond my control. These were 'extra prizes' and does not effect the original prize pull. Thanks for your understanding.

This evening our 1912 Families and Educators celebrated our end of year party..
It was such a great night as it is every year and thankfully the weather held out for us.
With a BBQ dinner, a visit from Santa and Mrs Claus in the fire truck, face painting, tattoos and lots of art and craft experiences for children to participate in you couldn't ask for a better night.
Thankyou to fairy tales and pirate sails for face painting for us once again.
Graeme, Suzan and Justin Midgley and the Forth Valley Fire Brigade for organising our visit from Santa and Mrs Claus and letting us have a look in the fire truck.
Jodie and Mark for cooking all the yummy food.
Devonport Primary School for the use of the Gym.
Last but not least all of our wonderful Educators for giving up your time to provide such a wonderful time for our children and their families, we definately couldn't do it without you all.
We hope everyone had a wonderful evening and you all enjoy your long weekend.
Here's some of I'm sure many snaps of the night.
Please feel free to share your Santa pics with us using your family story section of the Kindyhub App. We would love to see them..

Last night, the 1912 team gathered for dinner at Premβs to commemorate a special occasion: the remarkable achievement of Khalia, who has just completed her Bachelorβs degree in Early Childhood Education! π©βπ
We are incredibly fortunate to have Khalia as part of our team at 1912, where she works as one of our dedicated early childhood teachers. Her passion for the sector is nothing short of inspiring, as she consistently crafts beautiful and enriching environments that nurture the growth and development of all children and their families. β€οΈ
We would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Khalia on her graduation. The determination she has shown in balancing her studies while raising her lovely daughter is truly commendable. Khalia has received her final transcript, with the graduation ceremony scheduled for the 16th of December. Once again, well done, Khalia! Your hard work and dedication have truly paid off! ππ

At 1912 we shared a story together to celebrate National Simultaneous Story time, held by the Australian Library and Information Association, with a picture book selected by an Australian author and illustrator, all read at the same day and time around the Country.
The picture book selected is Bowerbird blue, written and illustrated by Aura Parker.
Across the day we explored the colour blue, sensory bases, art creations and sustainability practices by engaging in a range of activities throughout the environment.

πππLife cycles π¦π¦π¦
Within the preschool room we have been learning about living things within our environment. This started in spring when we started to see bugs and flowers grow around us, we learnt about the life cycles and built bug hotels, adding them to our environment to watch daily.
We have recently added caterpillars to our environment to watch and observe the full life cycle. Our caterpillars are now in their cocoonβs, we are waiting patiently for the emergent of butterflies.
EYLF links:
Outcome two: children become socially responsible and show respect for the environment
Outcome four: children develop a range of learning and thinking skills and process such as problem solving, inquiry, experimentation, hypothesising, researching and investigating
Outcome five: children interact verbally and non-verbally with others for a range of purposes.
Principle: sustainability
Practice: planning and implementing play-based learning with intentionality
