🌊 I SEA I CARE COASTAL EXCURSION 🐬

Our students recently headed to the coast as part of the I Sea I Care program!

The excursion provided a fantastic opportunity to take learning beyond the classroom and explore our coastal and marine environments firsthand. Students learnt more about the importance of caring for our oceans, waterways and the incredible animals that call them home.

Experiences like these help our students understand the important role we can all play in protecting our environment for the future. 🌏💙

🥞 PANCAKE MAKING IN YEAR 5/6 🥞

Our Year 5/6 students put their cooking skills to the test with some pancake making!

Students worked together to follow the recipe, measure their ingredients and prepare their pancake mixture before enjoying the best part – tasting the finished product!

It was a great hands-on learning experience that combined teamwork, following instructions and plenty of delicious fun. Judging by the empty plates, we think the pancakes were a success! 😋

🏕️ YEAR 3 CAMP – THE BRIARS 🌿

Our Year 3 students had a fantastic time on camp at The Briars! Camp provided a wonderful opportunity for students to step outside their comfort zones, try new experiences and build their independence.

There were plenty of smiles, laughs and memories made along the way as students worked together, supported one another and enjoyed everything camp had to offer.

A big thank you to our staff who attended and helped make the experience possible. We hope our Year 3 campers came home with lots of stories to share! 💙

🌿 Learning in the great outdoors! 🌱

Our Year 1 students recently visited the Cranbourne Botanic Gardens as part of a Landcare grant awarded to our school.

Students had a fantastic opportunity to explore the gardens, connect with nature and extend their learning about our local environment and native plants. 🌳🌼

What a wonderful hands-on learning experience for our Year 1 students! 💚

📚 Learning Summit – Next Tuesday! 🎲

Our Term 3 Learning Summit will be held next Tuesday, 15 September, from 3:00–4:00 pm.

Families are invited to come into their child’s classroom and spend some time together, providing an opportunity for students to share some of the learning they have been doing this term and/or enjoy playing some maths games together. Please note that the Learning Summit will take place in classrooms only, with specialist classrooms not open for visits on this occasion.

Students attending the Learning Summit must be accompanied and supervised by a parent/carer for the duration of their visit.

We look forward to welcoming families into our classrooms and celebrating the learning taking place across our school! 💙
