Launching into Learning is a free program where you and your child get to know your local school.

To our lovely LiL families, if your child would enjoy dressing up (in celebration of Book Week) for our next session on Monday the 24th they are very welcome to do so! If they have a copy of the book they're celebrating with their costume please bring that along to share. Dressing up is not compulsory by any means, simply a choice you and your child can make together.

Tomorrow Harley will meet LiL families at the Glenorchy Child and Family Centre at 9am for the morning session!

Please note there will be no afternoon session.

Today our wonderful school Principal, Mrs Allen, came to visit this morning's session for an extra story time!

We had a lovely morning with our little friends, decorating crowns to wear, and excitedly popping our name in the competition box!

For the entire Term 3, every time your child attends one of our morning or afternoon LiL sessions they are invited to drop their name into the box. At the end of the term, we will draw out one lucky name and that child will get a beautiful new Goodwood Primary School shirt!

With tomorrow marking the beginning of Term 3, we're excited to say that LiL morning and afternoon sessions will be back on! Join us from 9-11 am or 1:45-2:45 pm. Miss Alice and Harley can't wait to see you!

Thank you for braving the cool this morning and walking down to the school garden with us for our last morning session of the term! It was a pleasure to introduce Laura Stops to our LiL families and children. Laura does a wonderful job creating enticing and enriching learning opportunities in the garden with all classes, and it's something I know our current Pre Kinder friends will look forward to experiencing next year!

Thank you, Laura for showing us how to plant our pea seeds, inviting us to snack on the remaining raspberries, sniff the herbs and harvesting onions for us!

Tomorrow we are walking down to the school garden together at 9:30am. It'll be chilly, so please do rug up so you can enjoy the time outside. Looking forward to seeing you!

If you joined us for our morning LiL session you may have noticed another friendly face in our space! Li Jager is our wonderful and caring Speech Pathologist here at Goodwood Primary School. Li is a wealth of knowledge regarding your child's speech, language and communication development. Please know that if you ever have any questions or concerns about your little person, Miss Alice and Harley are always here to chat to, and, when they are unsure how best to answer your questions they are able to seek advice from the other wonderful professionals in our Goodwood Primary School team.
