🎉 A lucky day for our school community! 🎉

Our school was thrilled to win first prize in the raffle organised by DAHS, Derby Aboriginal Health Service. Miss Wiki won second prize, and one of our students, Skiann, won third prize. Three winners from our school community! 🌟

A huge thank you to DAHS for organising the raffle and, more importantly, for the wonderful support they provide to our community through their regular visits, health advice and clinic services. We truly appreciate everything they do to support the health and wellbeing of our families. ❤️

Lionel has shown a calm and thoughtful approach to his work. He is a kind, gentle and valued member of our class and has had excellent attendance. Well done, Lionel! 👏

Congratulations to last week’s Stars of the Week and Dojo winners, Emmanuel and Lugadi 🌟

Emmanuel received his award for settling into our school brilliantly, embracing new experiences and working hard throughout his first week.

Lugadi received her award for showing wonderful resilience, joining in positively and giving her best effort.

To celebrate their achievements, Emmanuel chose a $20 gift voucher to spend at the local community shop, while Lugadi chose something special from our prize selection.

A deadly day out on Country at Myroodah Crossing ❤️💛🖤

We made a fire and cooked up a barbecue, went fishing, played games and cooled off with plenty of splashing in the crossing. It was a great day for everyone to come together, spend time on Country and enjoy being out by the river.

Lots of smiles, laughter and good times shared by all!

💙 Blue Light Disco 💙

A big thank you to Laurie and Sean for coming out and putting on our Blue Light Disco on Friday night! 🎶

We had a great turnout, with plenty of dancing, games, food and lots of happy faces. It was lovely to see our kids having such a good time and families and community coming along to join in too.

Nights like this are a great way for our school and community to come together, spend time with one another and strengthen those connections.

Thank you again to Laurie and Sean, and to everyone who came along and made it such a fun night! 💙 🕺

A big congratulations to Riley, our Dojo winner on Friday! Riley brings such a positive attitude to school every day. He always gives his best, works hard and is a wonderful role model to others.

And a big congratulations to Tara-Lee, our winner from the previous week! Tara-Lee shows amazing commitment to her learning. She gives everything 100%, takes on every challenge and always gets on with it with a smile.
