On Wednesday, our girls’ soccer team travelled to Ballarat to compete in the Regional Soccer Competition. The team earned their place at this level after successfully winning both the District and Division competitions over the previous two weeks.
Following a very busy and demanding fortnight of competition, the girls once again represented our school with determination and sportsmanship. They recorded an impressive 4–0 victory over Ararat West and were narrowly defeated in their remaining matches against strong and experienced opposition.

A standout performance saw the team hold eventual competition winners, Ballarat Grammar, to just a single goal.

The team consisted of a wonderful mix of experienced players and students who were new to the sport. Every player contributed positively and represented our school with pride, resilience, and teamwork throughout the day.
