There's still time to have a clean out and declutter ready for next week's clothing swap.

We've had so many people asking. YES! We are running another clothing swap!

Have a clean out of your kids wardrobes, save some money and choose a more sustainable option.

Donate any number of items and collect any number of items (no one is counting). If you don't have anything to donate this time, you're still welcome to collect.

Open to everyone in the community. You DO NOT have to be a Playgroup member to be involved.

How the swap will work:
Drop off your kids out-grown and unwanted clothes in the morning. Volunteers will then sort into size, and boys or girls. Come back, have a browse and pick up some pre-loved items.

Date: Sunday 9th November
Time: Drop off 9am - 10am (message us to arrange early drop off if needed)
Swap open from 11am - 2pm
Cost: Gold coin donation
Sizes: 00000 - 6
Bring your own bag
Tea and Coffee provided

What we ARE accepting:
All babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers clothes, pyjamas, swimmers, hats and beanies, nappies, shoes, sleep sacks and new socks and un**es.

What we ARE NOT accepting:
Dirty, smelly, torn or stained clothes,
Toys, books, bedding, blankets, bottles, bouncers, play mats, bags, and any other baby/children's or maternity items.

Any items left at the end will be donated to charity but we're hoping not to have anything left over, so dont be shy and please take as much as you need.

This clothing swap is NOT a fundraiser for Playgroup. Our aim is purely to provide this event for the community. We kindly ask for a gold coin donation to help cover hall hire.

Thank you to the Playgroup members volunteering to run this clothing swap and Salvation Army for the use of the hall.

Yesterday, Deniliquin Playgroup held their AGM and we are excited to have all the roles filled by such passionate and committed members for 2026.

Megan Lyne is moving from co-ordinator to treasurer with Keely Leetham stepping in as co-ordinator. Erika Heffer and Betty del Solar are sharing secretary role, taking over from Josie Lloyd.

Sadly, we are saying goodbye to Penny Fowler who has been our committed treasurer for six years. Not only has Penny been an outstanding treasurer, but also an opener and advocate for Playgroup. Her fun nature and wealth of knowledge will be missed. Many of our current and past Playgroup members were probably greeted by, and made to feel welcome, by Penny on their first session. Thank you Penny for everything you have done for Playgroup!

We're so excited for a fun 2026 full of connection and community at Deni Playgroup.

Storytime starts at 10.00. Playgroup open 9.30 to 11.30.

Going to Playgroup is a great way to connect with other parents, learn from each other and catch up with friends.

New members are always welcome and with lots to keep the kids happy, it's an easy and relaxed morning out.

Our toys and resources are aimed for 0-5 year olds and we have a baby corner to keep the little bubs safe from older, more boisterous children.

If you haven't thought about joining Playgroup, we encourage you to give it a go and connect with our friendly community!

Another great morning at Playgroup. The children had fun dressing up and decorating their own masks for a special school holidays activity.

Back to the new normal next week. Playgroup will be open Tuesdays and Wednesdays from now on.

Lots of fun at Playgroup today at our first Tuesday session. The children made and tasted their own pizza! 🍕

Thank you Meg for making the pizza dough and organising all the ingredients, and to the parents for helping out.

Reminder that this week and next, Playgroup will be open Tuesdays only with a special school holiday activity each day.

Next Tuesday - come in your favourite dress up and decorate a mask.
