Delegate Public School

Another incredible week of Public Education at Delegate Public School. As a school we continue to provide amazing opportunities for all students, Aboriginal students, students with a disability, High Potential Gifted Education students and students from a culturally diverse background. In the past seven days, students from Delegate Public School have travelled with school staff, and accompanied by parents as well to Wollongong for Athletics, Perisher Valley for Snow Sports, and to Sydney for NSW State PSSA Knockout Finals.
Our students and staff always aspiring to excellence.
Certainly tiring times but so incredibly rewarding for me as principal and the staff who also come along for the ride to support. Many more opportunities for all next term. Check out some cool snaps from the past seven days. Public Education rocks and Small Schools rock even more. NSW Department of Education NSW Primary School Sports Association

What a day at the NSW PSSA Small Schools Knockout Finals Day in Penrith. Three games played, two very tight losses to start the day. Then in the playoff for 7th v 8th, we walked away victorious with a resounding 11-3 victory against Wardle Public School. So, 7th in the state for Delegate Public School. Wow, wow, wow, what a proud old principal I am today. An amazing group of young people we have at Delegate. I want to put a huge shout out to the incredible parents who made the 800km round trip to support our team. And last but not least, thank you so much to Mrs. Bannister for all her organisation and support. NSW Department of Education NSW Primary School Sports Association

What a start to the day. Lots of fun already and an extremely tight first up game. After leading for the majority of the match, the talented kids from Glen William Public School took the win 6-5. Outstanding effort by all our players. Bring on the next match against Tullamore Public School. A huge shout out to Ms Deb Healy for her outstanding work in organising and managing the Small Schools Knockout Finals Days for Touch Football, Football (Soccer) and Netball. As the snow slowly melts at the end of this very mild winter, the crew at Perisher have done a magnificent job to ensure there is skiable terrain. We have now completed our three day Ski School and all the kids have shown a marked improvement in not only their skills, but also their confidence levels. NSW Department of Education
