Grade 5 SEED Days

Over the last two days, our Grade 5 students have had the wonderful opportunity to take part in SEED Days at Loreto College, St Patrick’s College and Damascus College.

These days give our students the chance to experience high school life, explore new learning environments and begin to understand what the next step in their learning journey may look like.

Regardless of which secondary school they choose to attend, these experiences are a fantastic way to build confidence, independence and excitement for the future!

A big thank you to our local secondary schools for welcoming our students and providing them with such valuable and enjoyable experiences. 🌟

Bullying No Way Week at Lumen

Last week, our students have been learning that we all have the power to make a positive difference!

Across the school, students logged into Kids Helpline online sessions, exploring bullying, kindness, connection and ways we can support ourselves and others.

Each day, random students were given special challenges to complete — from spreading kindness to finding simple ways to make our school an even more positive and connected place. 💛

Our Foundation students created special cards for their buddies, with one goal in mind — to make them smile! 😊 Meanwhile, our student leaders organised teamwork and connection games at break times, bringing students together through fun and cooperation.

A wonderful week of reminding everyone that our words, choices and actions matter — and together, we can help make Lumen a place where everyone feels safe, valued and included.

Book Week Dress Up Day!

We kicked off our Book Week celebrations today with our Dress Up Day and Parade! Our school was filled with so many amazing book characters, creative costumes and plenty of smiles.

It was wonderful to see our students and staff bring some of their favourite book characters to life and celebrate the joy of reading together!
