The Deepwater Art Show is an exhibition of local artists from the New England Region.It is staged by Deepwater Art Inc. which is a-not-for profit organisation raising money for various charities and community groups while promoting art and music in Deepwater. The exhibition runs for a week starting on Friday the 19th of September coinciding with the first week of the September school holidays. The
opening night entertainment will be provided by the Bellingen-based, ABC Exhumed finalists 'Aunty Hu Hu and the Big Lazy" and of course there will be delicious food and local wines to enjoy. There will be art demonstrations, wine tasting and more fabulous food. Exhibition organisers are offering a number of workshops in acrylic painting, drawing, ceramics, sculpture and jewellery making during the week of the exhibition. Deepwater Art is calling artists of all mediums to enter this years show, including secondary students. They are invited to participate in the Angela Curnow Bequest. This award is in memory of our beautiful friend, teacher and supporter of the Arts, Ange. We are also looking for volunteers to help run the exhibition.
