Thanks to Courtney and Graham who represented our club by assisting at the Dee Why RSL Anzac day dawn service.

On the 16th March 2025 Jamie, Aisha, Graham and Alty represented the club at the Northern beaches Intercultural Fair. Thanks to them many new contacts were made.

Congratulations to Chris Ramos, 2nd in the Hawkesbury District evaluation contest.

On the 1st Mar 2025 our club had success at the Area 8 competitions.
Chris Ramos won the Evaluation contest and Bob Mackay the Humorous Speech contest.

It was an honour for Adrian Oosthuizen to receive our Community Recognition Award yesterday from James Griffin, MP for Manly on behalf of the Parliament of NSW on the Club’s 60th Birthday.
Dee Why RSL Toastmasters Club received a mention in the NSW Parliament for its community contribution and “dedicating themselves to empowering others to build their communication skills, with a focus on developing and improving public speaking.”
The announcement was tabled in the Parliamentary Hansard.
Adrian told James Griffin that our DYRSL Toastmaster Club’s community strength is our ability to provide a secure space for people of all nationalities and ages to develop their speaking skills here in Australia and have fun.

On the 18 Nov 2024 the club celebrated its 60th birthday with a dinner at the Dee Why RSL club. Over 50 members, past members and guests enjoyed a wonderful evening.
