A number of positive learning experiences for our students such as last Thursday’s visit from Italian singer ‘Kavisha’ and today’s trip to Parliament House and St. Patrick’s Cathedral, wouldn’t be possible without the generous financial support of The Daylesford Foundation.

🏘️✨ Big lessons from Tiny Town!

Year 6 students at St Michael's Primary School Daylesford have been running their very own Tiny Town, creating businesses, solving real-world challenges and learning what it takes to build a thriving community.

When cows escaped from Irving's Farm and caused chaos around town, students worked together to find solutions that supported the wellbeing of everyone.

Inspired by Catholic Social Teaching, they explored the importance of community, human dignity and the common good while developing skills in collaboration, creativity and critical thinking.

A wonderful example of faith, learning and leadership in action! 💙

A big day at St. Michael’s with our Discovery 2 class venturing down the street, spending time in Coles as part of their work on sustainable living. Thanks to the staff at Coles and Linda at Baker’s Delight for looking after our students so well! Our Years 4-6 students then got to experience first hand the decision making processes that take place inside Parliament House!
