Our Pre-Kindy little scientists got stuck into some seriously squishy fun on Tuesday! 🙌💚

We explored the weird and wonderful world of Oobleck — is it a solid? Is it a liquid? 🤔 The children used their hands and senses to squeeze, squish, poke and investigate this amazing sensory experience!

But it wasn’t just messy fun… 👀✨ Our little learners were building early science skills, exploring cause and effect, making observations and asking questions as they discovered how oobleck changes depending on how we interact with it.

Learning through play + messy hands + curious minds = the best kind of learning! 👐🔬💚

🏃‍♀️💙 Kindy Little Athletes! 💙🏃‍♂️

Our Kindy children had a wonderful morning walking up to Dayboro State School for the Little Athletics Carnival! They loved watching the older students race before it was their turn to hit the track for their own running race. 🏅

After lots of cheering, big smiles and plenty of fun, we walked back to kindy chatting all about our exciting morning.

A big thank you to Dayboro State School for having us and making our Kindy children feel so welcome. We loved being part of such a fun community event! 💙

💙💤 Pyjama Day at Lead Childcare Dayboro 💤💙

What a wonderful day we had celebrating Pyjama Day and supporting The Pyjama Foundation! It was lovely to see our children, families and educators getting involved and arriving in their favourite pyjamas.

The day was filled with cosy outfits, plenty of smiles and some very impressive pyjama fashion choices. Of course, the highlight for many was Miss Kristy’s highland cow slippers, which made a very strong case for being the official footwear of Pyjama Day! 🐮💤

We are so excited to share that we have raised $262 so far! 💙🎉
