Barefoot Early Childhood

Some little garden adventurers at Barefoot this morning 🌱 connecting to country, building friendships, and slowing down to appreciate the natural world.

Some wet, muddy, joyous exploration in the local waterways this week. Our Kindy children have been thriving, developing an understanding of the natural world, weather events, and the animals that live in our local world.

The Kindergarten children have been busy exploration reconciliation through the lens of clay. Meaningful discussion led to some flag inspiration, some careful clay work, and eventually some water colour to finish off. Beautiful, meaningful, inclusive, and intentional 💕

There’s nothing quite like a sunny picnic on a winters day. Add some books, and a pony watching on from beside you, and you really have a little magic.

Our little Barefooters participated in a meaningful exploration of rain today. Marker drawing on water colour paper, then placed outside in the raindrops, creating a little bit of real time magic ✨

Little fingers busy at work this morning creating clay mosaics with beans. Teeny tiny pieces always appeal to little people, and the creative work promotes so much physical, cognitive and imaginative development.

Little fingers, little flowers, little moments of connection in the every day 🌸

It’s been the perfect weather for splashing in puddles, getting messy in mud, discovering the magic in rainbows, and enjoying the pure joy of catching the rain with our mouths. How blessed are we to enjoy all of the gifts that Country gives us 🌈
