While we are very excited to hear from you, please be aware that we reserve the right to moderate this page as we see fit and remove any posts or materials that we deem inappropriate or not beneficial to the wider community. This includes but is not limited to posts that are:

Creating a safe sleep environment is one of the many ways we care for children each day. From following safe sleep practices and using approved cots, to completing visual checks every 5 minutes, our educators take every step to help children rest safely and comfortably.

We also work closely with families to understand each child's individual sleep routine, because feeling safe, settled and well-rested helps children learn, grow and thrive.

Thank you Essendon AFLW!

We were excited to welcome members of the Essendon AFLW team to our centre for a special incursion with our children!

This was a wonderful opportunity for children to engage with AFLW players, learn about teamwork, resilience, confidence, physical wellbeing and being active, while having lots of fun through movement and play.

Through the incursion session, children had the opportunity to develop their gross motor skills, practise coordination and movement, and learn that sport and physical activity can be enjoyable for everyone. It also provides a meaningful opportunity for children to connect with positive role models and learn about the importance of working together, showing respect and having a go.

We are grateful to the Essendon AFLW team for sharing their time, knowledge and passion with our children and helping us create a memorable learning experience.

Ever had one of those "What should I be doing with my child?" moments? You might already have the answer at home.

Earlier this year, every Goodstart family received a What & When for Families guide for each child. If it's been tucked away in a drawer since then, now might be the perfect time to pull it back out.

The guide is packed with simple, play-based activities that support your child's learning and development at home. Best of all, it's written in your child's voice, with ideas tailored to their age and developmental stage.

From singing songs with babies and playing peek-a-boo, to "I Spy" games, storytelling and treasure hunts with older children, the activities are designed to fit naturally into everyday moments you already share together.

We know learning doesn't only happen in the classroom. Those small moments at home can help build big communication, language and literacy skills.

At Goodstart Nightcliff we celebrate the joy of books, storytelling and imagination.through this year’s themes, children can explore their favourite stories, characters and adventures while developing language, creativity and a love of reading.

Throughout the week, educators are providing story-inspired experiences, dress-ups, dramatic play, art and craft, music and movement, and opportunities for children to share their favourite books with friends.
