Hello everyone, my name is Elaine and I am the Senior Educator in the Nursery room.

I’m a mother of two young boys who love to explore and learn. They both enjoy outdoor activities, especially camping and fishing, and they also loved their time at Goodstart Berrimah. Because of this, I understand how important it is for both parents and children to feel part of a strong, friendly, and welcoming environment.

I have been with Goodstart Berrimah for nearly 15 years and have loved working with the educators, the children, and their families. I still enjoy helping our little ones have fun while learning important life skills that they will need as they grow, by exploring, questioning, and discovering all the amazing things around them.

I thrive on building strong and welcoming bonds with both parents and children, and being able to support the families, colleagues, and children around me.
My time at Goodstart Berrimah has shown me that offering care, encouragement, and consistency is always the best approach.

During my 15 years at Goodstart Berrimah, while also raising my family at home, I have completed both my Certificate III and Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.

My name is Huu Minh Nguyet LE, but I’m known as Ellie. I hold a Master of Early Childhood Teaching and have been working at Goodstart Early Learning Berrimah for two years. I am currently an Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) and Senior Educator at the centre.
I’m originally from Vietnam, a country rich in culture, strong family values, and community connections, values that I bring into my teaching practice every day.
I have been living in Australia for the past six years, a place that has truly become my second home. Studying and working here has shaped my teaching approach and strengthened my passion for early childhood education.
I believe children learn best when they feel secure, respected, and valued. Through warm relationships, play-based learning, and responsive teaching, I aim to support each child’s holistic development socially, emotionally, physically, and cognitively. I value diversity and strive to celebrate every child’s unique strengths, culture, and abilities.
At present, I work closely with our team and children in the Nursery 1 room, supporting our youngest learners during their early development by creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment.
As a lifelong learner, I continually reflect on my practice and work collaboratively with families and colleagues to provide high-quality education and care.
