Congratulations to our Flinders Medical Students! 🥳❤️

The FMSS Lifeblood Drive NT is a friendly competition between five teams: MD1, MD2, MD3, MD4 and CDU MD1. Every eligible donation you make during the campaign window counts towards your team’s total and supports patients who rely on blood products.

Donations and booking:
You can donate blood, plasma or platelets at any Lifeblood donor centre, subject to usual eligibility rules. To take part, simply visit the Lifeblood website, find a donor centre near you, and book an appointment for the type of donation that suits you.

How to join a team
When you register or log in with Lifeblood, make sure you join the correct FMSS Lifeblood team (MD1, MD2, MD3, MD4 or CDU) so your donations are counted. Then, donate as often as you’re eligible across the campaign period and encourage friends and classmates to sign up with your team.

Join FMSS NT for a relaxed evening at the iconic Mindil Beach Sunset Markets, taking in the famous Darwin sunset from the Sunset Lounge area. This event is a chance to unwind, enjoy food and live entertainment, and spend time with friends in a unique Top End setting.

Tickets and pricing:
Tickets are free for current FMSS members, while non-FMSS members tickets are 17 dollars. To secure your spot, scan the QR code and complete the short ticket form, as places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Over the last month FMSS ran not one but two trivia nights – MSK for our MD2s and IMD for our MD1s (plus a few keen MD2s) 😂

Thank you all for coming and putting your knowledge to the test! As well as showing off your competitive side! 😂

However, the real winners were for catering both trivia nights. Thank you for the yummy food! 🍛🥰
