Most social media advice is written for people who enjoy social media. Post daily. Make Reels. Be everywhere.

If you hate the process, that plan doesn't fail because you lack discipline. It fails because nobody sticks with something they can't stand doing.

This 60-minute workshop builds the other plan: one to three posts a week, no video, AI and Canva doing the heavy lifting, one batching session a month.

You'll learn:

- Why posting more has steeply diminishing returns
- Why no platform has ever published a penalty for going quiet
- Where AI helps, and where it measurably costs you engagement
- The fifteen minutes a week that beats writing another post
- Six popular guru sayings that fall apart under scrutiny

For Australian small business owners doing their own marketing in the gaps. You'll leave with two chosen channels, a realistic cadence, and a monthly session booked in your calendar.

LinkedIn changed its algorithm. Again. Thousands of creators are losing their minds. Again.

My feed is full of people panicking because their impressions dropped. Posts about "the death of organic reach." Threads begging for engagement pod invites. Full meltdowns over a number most of their buyers never cared about.

What actually happened? LinkedIn replaced its old rule-based system with AI that reads your post and decides who specifically should see it. Fewer eyeballs, better targeting. Your post about leadership might get 400 views instead of 4,000. But those 400 people are the ones who actually need what you sell.

A post of mine just last week got 146 impressions and generated an actual paying client. A client enquiry in my inbox at 8.23am. I also had a post hit 13,000 views last week and produced absolutely nothing. Not a single DM. Not one conversation apart from some amusing comments (and I will never complain about that!)

Views are vanity. They always were. The algorithm just stopped pretending otherwise.

Write for the person you want to work with. Be specific about who that person is. Name their problem. Describe their Tuesday morning. Let the AI do the sorting.

The creators panicking right now were building on someone else's platform and mistaking attention for income. Those two things have never been the same. And a platform that finally rewards relevance over volume should be good news for anyone who actually has something worth saying.

Google just dropped a spam update. One part of it matters more than the rest if you run a small business.

Scaled unoriginal content.

That means they're punishing the pumping out of AI-written articles with no real thought behind them. You know, that whole, Copy-paste from what you prompted, bulk publish to your website and hope for rankings approach. A lot of small business owners got sold on this exact strategy over the last two years. I even talked about it (albeit with a warning not to copy and paste what AI pumps out...)

Google is now actively penalising it. As they should.

The fix is simple but slow. Write fewer pieces. Make each one actually useful. Cover your topic properly instead of skimming the surface across fifty thin posts.

Practically, that looks like this...

- Pick one question your customers genuinely ask you. The one they bring up at the counter, or type into your enquiry form at 11pm on a Tuesday.
- Write a thorough answer that includes the specific details only someone in your business would know.
- Include product names, pricing context, which supplier you stopped using and why, what actually happened when a customer tried the cheaper option.

That kind of content is hard to fake. Which is exactly why Google rewards it.

One good article a month beats thirty forgettable ones. And best still? You can use AI to help you put it together - just don't get it to tell the story for you.

Once upon a time, building a website was a matter of knowing how to hand-code HTML. Then we had Content Management Systems, WordPress, Wix and Squarespace. There are countless ways to build a website yourself - but you still need to understand a lot about web hosting and code.

Today's AI tools will build you an attractive, functional website in minutes - but if you need to make it go live, you'll need a few extra bits.

In this 1 hour class, you'll learn:

1. The fundamentals of website building
2. How to work with web hosting
3. How databases work
4. Understanding how to update your website
5. Just how far you can go with building it yourself

This webinar will contain vital cybersecurity information as well as live demonstrations of how to build your website using tools like Google Gemini, ChatGPT and Claude.

Your systems don't need to be perfect.
They just need to work when you don't.

I've been ill this week.

The kind of ill where your brain feels like it's swimming through Vegemite and the last thing you want to do is create content.

But here's what actually happened.

I opened my calendar. My content system already told me the topic, the core value, and the perspective for today's post. All I had to do was find a story to attach to it.

Turns out, being sick WAS the story.

Here's what I want you to take from this:

The best systems are only as good as your ability to keep using them. And the real test of a system isn't how it performs on your best day. It's whether it carries you on your worst one.

My system didn't write the post for me. But it removed 80% of the decisions I'd normally have to make. And when you're running on empty, that's everything.

So here's your actionable takeaway:

Stop building systems that only work when you're motivated.

Start building ones that reduce decisions when you're not.

Break your process into layers - what to talk about, what angle to take, what value to lead with. Pre-decide as much as you can.

Then when life hits, all you need is one spark. One story. One honest moment.

That's authenticity meeting strategy. And that's how you stay consistent without burning out.

I tried to do this in one webinar. It was a bit too big - and crashed my computer. So I've broken it up into four parts.

We're going to look at Building Your Own Web Apps from scratch.

That means hosting (a few ways), designing, building, and adding functions that require a database and login.

I'll be using Claude, but you can do the same thing using ChatGPT or Gemini, really.

Most importantly, I'll be going a bit slower and showing more on-screen so you can see how it all works. And then see a working web app at the end of it.

This is for the solopreneurs and small business owners out there that don't mind getting their typing fingers a little dirty in the details.

I can do it all free, thanks to the Australian Government's Digital Solutions program - and BUSY Business.

There's no set agenda, no formalies - just a table of up to 10 people who can relate to where you're at - because they're one of you.

It's $5 - which includes a large coffee/tea/drink as well.

HighLevel or "GoHighLevel" is a widely used CRM that shows up as many other names, because it is white labelled by distributors who also act as trainers and support agents for the system.

And it is quite a system indeed.

- Customer Relationship Management
- Process Automation
- Customer Agent Automation
- Social Media Posting
- Website & Landing Page Building
- Email Newsletters
- Hosting Webinars and Courses

And that is just a small sample of what's in there.

And while you could read 100 articles on how it works, it's always easier to see someone using it for their real business in a real way - in Australia,

In this live webinar, you'll see a live demo that you can ask questions around and get answers.

No selling. No pressure. Just a look at once of the bigger CRM systems around for those who are done with the free tools and want to go more seriously with their systems.

No problem if you can't be there at the time - you'll get sent the recording and interactive guide, regardless.

Facebook Ads Gurus. Please stop telling local service businesses with under $500k of revenue that they need a 3-stage sales funnel.

They don't.

A carpet cleaner in the south of Perth was running four ad sets, three audiences, two landing pages, and a retargeting sequence. Spending $1,800 a month. Couldn't tell you where his best customers lived.

I advised him to wipe it all out. Everything.

And start again with something more simple.

One ad. One offer. One suburb.

His phone rang nine times in the first week.

Small service businesses get sold funnels built for companies fifty times their size. The retargeting pixel fires into an audience of 340 people. The email sequence gets three subscribers a month. Nobody notices when it breaks because the owner is out doing quotes and cleaning carpet.

Local services don't have a long consideration window. The hot water is out. The carpet smells. People scroll, see someone nearby, call or don't.

$250 for three rooms. This week. Kwinana.

That specificity beats every funnel I've seen under $500K revenue. Name the suburb. Name the price. Let the phone ring.
