🦷✨ Dental Health Week! ✨🪥
Last week, we celebrated Dental Health Week! Our children explored the importance of looking after their teeth through fun, hands-on experiences, stories, songs and conversations. 🪥😁
We learnt about brushing our teeth, healthy food choices and visiting the dentist, while developing positive habits to keep our smiles healthy and strong! 🍎🦷💛

🌱July's Learning & Development Meeting 🌱
Last week, our team came together for a Learning & Development meeting facilitated by our Educational Leaders, Stella and Emily! 💛
The session focused on our Journey Program and explored how we can continue to create engaging, meaningful learning environments that inspire curiosity, connection and learning through play.
Together, we reflected on how our environments can act as the third teacher, supporting children's interests, encouraging exploration and creating opportunities for children to lead their own learning. ✨

🐍 World Snake Day Fun! 🐍
Last week, our children celebrated World Snake Day with a special incursion from Tom at Top End Critters!
The children had the opportunity to meet some amazing slithery friends while learning about snakes, their habitats, and the important role they play in our environment.
It was wonderful to see children showing curiosity, confidence, and respect as they asked questions, shared ideas, and engaged in this hands-on learning experience.

What a wonderful week celebrating NAIDOC Week! 💛❤️🖤
Our children enjoyed a range of meaningful experiences, including Indigenous art, storytelling, music, sensory play and conversations that celebrated the rich cultures, histories and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
It was fantastic to see their curiosity and enthusiasm as they explored, learned and connected with these important perspectives.
Thank you to our educators and families for helping make this week so special. We look forward to continuing to embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives into our learning every day.

✨ Kinder+ Night ✨
Last night we welcomed our families into the centre for a special evening focused on our school readiness program and the exciting journey ahead for our children as they prepare for their transition to school. 🎓🌱
Families had the opportunity to learn more about the experiences, learning opportunities and intentional teaching strategies that support children’s confidence, independence, communication, wellbeing and lifelong learning skills.
It was wonderful to come together as a community, share insights into our Kinder+ program, and discuss how we can work alongside families to support each child’s individual growth and development. 💛

Children will enjoy Australian Animal Day, Flag Inspired Art, State of Origin Day, Damper Making, and Caring for Country Day, with plenty of opportunities to learn through play, creativity and connection. 🌿
We look forward to sharing this special week with our children as we explore, create and celebrate together. 💚
