Sometimes you just need to get out of the house and be around other adults. So do it this Friday at Darwin Innovation Hub.

We've reserved the best room in the house from 8am to 4pm so you can connect, get work done and lock in around people who you can bounce ideas off and get new perspectives from.

It's free, limited to 10 people and includes morning tea downstairs at Rabbit Hole at 10am, and lunch at 12.30pm.

I'd love to have you join us for some chill beats, a bit of daylight and touch of collaboration as well.

Once upon a time, building a website was a matter of knowing how to hand-code HTML. Then we had Content Management Systems, WordPress, Wix and Squarespace. There are countless ways to build a website yourself - but you still need to understand a lot about web hosting and code.

Today's AI tools will build you an attractive, functional website in minutes - but if you need to make it go live, you'll need a few extra bits.

In this 1 hour class, you'll learn:

1. The fundamentals of website building
2. How to work with web hosting
3. How databases work
4. Understanding how to update your website
5. Just how far you can go with building it yourself

This webinar will contain vital cybersecurity information as well as live demonstrations of how to build your website using tools like Google Gemini, ChatGPT and Claude.

Croc Camp. The finalists are in.

The finalists. One day. Every gap in their pitch will be found before 09.09.26 finds it for them.

Alex Farrugia and the DIH team are putting them through their paces. The stage is getting close.

We tried to do this in one webinar. It was a bit too big - and crashed the computer. So we've broken it up into four parts.

We're going to look at Building Your Own Web Apps from scratch.

That means hosting (a few ways), designing, building, and adding functions that require a database and login.

I'll be using Claude, but you can do the same thing using ChatGPT or Gemini, really.

Most importantly, I'll be going a bit slower and showing more on-screen so you can see how it all works. And then see a working web app at the end of it.

This is for the solopreneurs and small business owners out there that don't mind getting their typing fingers a little dirty in the details.

We can do it all free, thanks to the Australian Government's Digital Solutions program - and BUSY Business.

Join a small group of local freelancers, solopreneurs and work-from-home business owners over coffee each month in Darwin CBD.

Not everyone works in an office with a team. Sometimes we're all on our own in our home office or kitchen table working on our dream.

Click over Coffee is held in Darwin, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth, to bring together people who would like to connect with others working on their own businesses, often on their own.

There's no set agenda, no formalies - just a table of up to 10 people who can relate to where you're at - because they're one of you.

It's $5, which includes your coffee.

We've all played around with AI to help us write emails, tidy up website copy and even post a few things on socials. But what more is there?

In this comprehensive in-person class in Darwin, you will learn how to extend your AI knowledge into building, rather than just writing. Using ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini, you'll see how to use AI tools to build useful tools for your business.

From landing pages and websites through to workflow management systems, calendars and your own trained AI assistant. At the end of the class you will also receive your own interactive guide that will help you to create your own tools for you own business - and deploy them on web hosting.
