🎶 Our Educators Have Been Learning! 💃📚

Last night, some of our amazing educators attended a professional development workshop, "Music, Storytelling and Dance: Get Your Mojo Back!"

The workshop explored the incredible role that music, movement and storytelling play in children's learning and development. Through practical, hands-on experiences, our educators discovered new ways to bring stories to life, use rhythm and rhyme, encourage creativity through dance, and create meaningful learning experiences that inspire imagination and a sense of belonging.

They also explored simple, culturally diverse resources and gained new ideas for incorporating music, storytelling and dramatic arts into everyday experiences for children of all ages and abilities.

A huge thank you to Louise Dorrat for facilitating such an engaging, practical and inspiring workshop. We truly appreciate you sharing your knowledge, passion and enthusiasm with our team.

We love investing in ongoing professional learning to ensure we're continually growing, reflecting and bringing fresh ideas back to our service. We can't wait to share these new experiences with the children over the coming weeks! ❤️🎵✨

🌟 Investing in Professional Learning for Better Outcomes 🌟

Last night, our educators participated in a valuable professional development session on Understanding and Supporting Divergent Play and Socialisation. 🧩💙

The session explored the importance of play, the many ways children engage with their environment and each other, and how educators can intentionally support children with diverse ways of learning, playing and building relationships. We also reflected on practical strategies for creating inclusive environments where every child feels safe, understood, valued and empowered to participate.

At Kentish Early Learning Centre - Moulden, we are committed to ongoing professional development because we know that learning never stops—for children or educators. By continually strengthening our knowledge and practice, we can provide the highest quality education and care while ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive.
