This 3-day conference brings together science teachers, school laboratory technicians and our industry partners to engage in the nation's largest professional learning conference in science education.

A final day of optional tours are being organised for 8 July to explore this magnificent and unique part of Australia.

School’s in – on the Great Barrier Reef!

A new Australian Government rebate program is empowering schools across the country to take a field trip to Australia’s best-known coral reef.

The $6 million ‘Kids for the Reef’ program offers rebates for Year 4 to Year 12 excursions to the region. Some of the many eligible learning activities bookable through approved high-standard tourism operators include:
⛵ boat tours on the Reef
🐡 snorkel surveys
🏝️ island research and data collection trips
🚣 tours with Indigenous Sea Rangers
🔍 marine biology studies.
