August begins with bold self-expression and a sense that something new is ready to be born as we edge towards the Solar Eclipse taking place on the 12th/13th of August.

The Leo energy that dominates the first half of the month will support us in bringing form to something that may have existed only as an idea until now. Creativity can be heightened, and we may find ourselves feeling confident enough to share parts of ourselves, or gifts and talents that we’ve kept hidden from others-and perhaps even ourselves.

Leo gives us the courage and strength to share our expertise with the world, while Virgo will help us refine our work and offer it structure and detail.

Venus moves into her home sign of Libra on the 7th of August. This is a comfortable pairing that can bring harmony, balance and diplomatic dealings.

While this dynamic can help smooth things over and bring resolution to matters, keeping the peace simply for the sake of it can have a detrimental effect if the heart of the issue isn’t truly addressed.

Bring issues into the light and use Libra’s gift for diplomacy to ensure all parties feel heard and acknowledged.

Solutions have a much better chance of lasting when the root cause of an issue is expressed and worked through.

This transit will help us more clearly recognise what we truly value within our most intimate relationships.

The heart remains the central theme as Mercury moves into Leo on the 10th of August.

This placement encourages us to speak with the spirit of bravery, and embrace bold thoughts and ideas that reignite our passion and lust for life.
