Mercury in Cancer: Returning to the Heart
June opens with an abundance of Gemini energy, yet quickly changes pace on the mental level when Mercury moves into Cancer on the 2nd.

Our thinking shifts from the fast-moving ideas and information overload of Gemini to a softer and more compassionate way of communicating and sharing ideas. Cancer can support us in dropping into our bodies and accessing our intuition. Our attention turns toward the welfare of others and ourselves, and we may find that we start using phrases like, “Take care of yourself,” or “Call me when you get home,” with our loved ones.

Family becomes an important focus with Mercury in Cancer. We may want to withdraw from the world and tend to our inner hearth, or we may have ideas around how to create a more comfortable living environment. There may also be thoughts around moving to a space that offers greater comfort, security, and emotional nourishment.

This placement can help us tap into a more creative and sentimental side. We may feel more sensitive, and because of this, we only allow a handful of people to have access to us.

Moodiness and insecurity can be part of this placement. If this arises for you, treat yourself with the kindness and compassion that you would give to others. When Mercury begins its retrograde period on the 30th of June, you can take a deep dive into any patterns that keep emerging and identify ways to resolve them.

The 5th month of the year takes us on quite a different journey to the months that have recently passed.

A Shift in the Cosmic Landscape
The big news is that Uranus — the planet of shock, revolution, and change — has finally left Ta**us after an almost 8-year stint that began in May 2018. This means we can now enjoy the gifts of Ta**us without the electric charge and unpredictability of Uranian energy.
Nervous systems can begin to settle, and we can ground our energy deep into the roots of the Earth.

Scorpio Full Moon — Shadow Work & Transformation
The Full Moon rises at 11°21′ Scorpio on the 1st/2nd of May (depending on your location). It invites us to look at any shadows we may be holding.
This is an invitation to facilitate deep change and release what no longer aligns with us.

Our shadows can be things we choose not to see, or aspects so deeply buried that we can’t access them — yet they still run the show through our thoughts, behaviours, and patterns.

Scorpio is often associated with emotions such as jealousy and envy, and behaviours such as control, manipulation, and possessiveness. Often, these can be linked to insecurities and fears of being hurt or taken advantage of.
The Scorpio Full Moon will illuminate what needs to be cleansed, cleared, and purified so that we can make way for new beginnings.

This won’t be a “rainbows and Skittles” experience — yet if we are honest with ourselves and do the inner work required, we can be reborn, ready to take on the world with a new perspective and empowered wisdom.

April is a huge month full of action and new beginnings!

You may have felt a hint of this energy starting to amp up when the Sun made its way into Aries on the 21st of March.

Aries is a cardinal fire sign. It is the first sign of the zodiac. It rules the first house of the natural chart and is a masculine sign.

This is pioneering energy in full force!

Aries Stellium: A Surge of Initiating Energy
April is not going to be a quiet month. Even if nothing much takes place externally (which I honestly can’t see happening), our inner worlds and nervous systems will feel the impact of the stellium of planets visiting Aries this month.

The Sun, Saturn, and Neptune are already solidly in Aries.

These planets will be joined by Mars on the 10th of April, Mercury on the 16th of April, and the New Moon in Aries shortly after.

We will all feel the push to seek change in one or multiple areas of our lives.

I’ve seen a lot of posts talking about how amazing this will be for us all, and how Aries energy can help us to “clear the decks,” so to speak.

While clearing the decks can certainly be part of this theme, whether we receive these changes as “amazing” or not, very much comes down to us as individuals.

If you have a solid idea of what you would like to achieve, along with the steps you are going to take to get there—this could be a highly productive time.

If you come into the month scattered and making impulsive decisions, it could feel destabilising.

I’m all for working with the planets in a practical way. Co-creating with them. Using them as a motivator, and being open to receiving their gifts.

‘Skyvibe’ Astrology Forecast for December 2025

December has arrived. Farewelling a year that has had more dips and loops than a theme-park rollercoaster.
 
Transformative is the positive terminology to use for the past 11 months. Downright messy at times might be a more honest way to describe it.
 
Although 2025 may have felt up, down, and all around — hopefully you have gained a deeper awareness of yourself, and have discovered ways to live your life that bring you into alignment with the desires of your heart and soul.
 
This has been a Snake year in Chinese Astrology, and a 9 year in numerology — two very powerful forces that are symbolic of stripping away what no longer supports us, strengthening our boundaries, pulling back from people, places, and situations that drain our energy, bringing cycles to an end, and identifying who and what we are allowing to have access to us.
 
Add to this the astrological movements of the year, and you have yourself a massive, bubbling cauldron of change prompting us to cross the threshold into new ways of being.
 
This isn’t to say that we need to overthrow all parts of who we are. It means that it’s time to let go of outdated patterns, beliefs, and behaviours (that may not always be ours), negative thought loops, addictions, ways of interacting, and situations that are draining our life force.
 
Anything that doesn’t support our soul-aligned path needs to go if we wish to live in sync with life and what it has to offer.
 
The month starts with outer planets Uranus and Neptune at the anaretic degree of 29.
 
In astrology the anaretic degree is known as a crisis point or a degree of urgency — especially with Uranus in the mix.
 
These two planets are inviting you to “feel into” what needs to change. They are both on the precipice of moving into new signs: Uranus into Gemini, and Neptune into Aries.
