📖Learning Lowdown📖
Students in Transition Rosa begin each morning with grounding activities. They learn to consolidate their current learning in both Maths and Literacy by choosing activities which focus on familiar concepts, whilst understanding classroom entry expectations, routine and school readiness. It allows them to anchor their emotions and build a stable foundation for cognitive and emotional readiness for a school day.
Ms Rosa is very proud of how confidently they enter the room and say goodbye to their parents.

🏉 Top End Region AFL Gala Day 🏉
On Tuesday, our Bakewell AFL teams took part in the Top End Region AFL Gala Day, competing against other Palmerston schools.
Both teams had an outstanding day, going undefeated in their pools and winning their respective divisions! 🏆
While the results were fantastic, the biggest highlight was the incredible team spirit, sportsmanship and improvement shown throughout each game. Lachlan and Skyl were inspirational captains, leading by example and encouraging their teammates throughout the day.
A huge thank you to Mr Shirley and Mr Jayden for coaching, encouraging and supporting our students throughout the day.
Congratulations to all of our players, you represented Bakewell with pride! 🏉
