📖 Learning Lowdown 📖

This term in SEL, children have been exploring friendship through shared reading and interactive learning experiences. Using the book 'I Just Ate My Friend', they discussed what makes a good friend and identified important friendship qualities such as kindness, sharing, trust, and having fun together. They then worked collaboratively to create a Friendship Heart display, adding their ideas about the qualities of a good friend to a shared heart on the whiteboard.

Children also participated in “Yes or No” activities, where they decided whether different actions were appropriate between friends and explained their thinking. This encouraged them to listen to others, consider different perspectives, and develop their social understanding.

It has been wonderful to see the children deepen their understanding of friendship and build positive relationships with their peers through these engaging learning experiences.

🌈 Preschool Colour Fun Run 🏃‍♂️

What a bright and colourful afternoon our Preschool students had at the Colour Fun Run!

A huge thank you to our amazing student leaders who helped facilitate the fun, our families for coming along to cheer everyone on, and our Preschool staff for helping create such a memorable experience for our students.

There were plenty of smiles, laughter and colourful moments throughout the afternoon. We hope everyone had a fantastic time and left with lots of colourful memories!

It was definitely an afternoon that added a little extra colour to our week!

🏅 Sports Day 2026 🏅

What a fantastic day!

Our Sports Day was a huge success, and we couldn't have done it without our amazing school community. A big thank you to our students for showing teamwork, courage and sportsmanship throughout the day. You all gave it your best shot and really went the extra mile!

Thank you to our teachers for getting involved and supporting students, our LSAs for running events and keeping everything on track, and our leadership team for stepping in to support staff and students throughout the day.

A special shout-out to Mr Shirley and Ms Grazioli for all the work that went into preparing our students during PE lessons and for the planning behind the scenes. Your efforts helped ensure the day ran smoothly from start to finish.

A huge thank you to our families for joining us, cheering from the sidelines and helping create such a positive atmosphere. Your support helped make the day a winner!
