🎶 What does a Rhythm Kids class look like?
Lots of listening, singing, moving, playing — and plenty of opportunities to explore real instruments! 🎵
This week our Rhythm Kids have been getting hands-on with the keyboard, Loog guitar and NUVO Recorder+, making music together and discovering how different instruments feel, sound and work.
At Musicking Maestros, we’ve added instrument exploration to our Rhythm Kids experience. Alongside the singing, movement, drumming and rhythm activities that form the heart of Rhythm Kids, children also have opportunities to explore:
🎹 Keyboard
🎸 Loog Guitar
🎻 Violin
🎶 NUVO Recorder+
🥁 Tuned & untuned percussion
At 4–6 years old, children don’t necessarily need to decide, “I’m a guitarist” or “I’m a pianist” yet.
We want them to experience music first — to listen, sing, move, experiment, play with others and discover the instruments that capture their interest.
And judging by these photos… the guitars and recorders were certainly popular! 😄
🌟 Rhythm Kids is expanding to TWO classes for Term 4!
If you have a 4–6 year old who loves music, you can now express your interest for Term 4 and indicate the class times that work for your family.
P.S: We will add the violin in Term 4.

Hear it. Sing it. Play it. Understand it. 🎶
