π± Digging Deep and Growing Together for National Tree Day! πΏπ§
Last month, our little green thumbs were hard at work in the garden celebrating National Tree Day!
With tiny trowels in hand and watering cans ready, our enthusiastic learners dove straight into planting, digging, and nurturing our outdoor space. It was such a joy to watch them explore the soil, cooperate with friends, and discover how to care for living things. Experiences like these help build a lifelong connection with nature, sustainability, and our environment! ππ³β¨

πΏ Curious Minds in Action! π¦πΈ
Our little explorers have been out and about, connecting with nature and discovering the world around them! From gazing at the lily pads by the pond to exploring seasonal displays and learning about local flora and fauna, every moment is a brand-new discovery.
Itβs amazing to watch their wonder and curiosity grow as they engage with their environment, ask questions, and learn together. We love fostering these hands-on, meaningful experiences for our children! πβ¨

β½π Kicking Goals & Having Fun! π
Our little champions have been having an absolute ball during soccer joey sessions! From practicing their ball skills, balancing on markers, and crawling like little bears, to cheering each other on and scoring exciting goals, our outdoor play spaces are full of energy, laughter, and active learning.
Gross motor activities like these help build coordination, confidence, teamwork, and a lifelong love for being active and healthy! ππΏ

π A Slice of Early Mathematics! π’
As part of our Kinder+ program, our kindy children have been getting hands-on with some delicious-looking learning! Through our interactive "pizza counting" activity, children count up the toppings on each pizza card and match them to the corresponding number cards (from 1 to 10).
Activities like this are a fantastic, playful way to build foundational numeracy skills, improve one-to-one correspondence, and spark a love for early mathematics. Look at that deep concentration and joyful discovery! π

πΏ On-the-Go and Exploring Nature! π³
Our kindy adventurers recently buckled up and headed out for an exciting community excursion! From holding hands on a sunny walk down the pathways and discovering local sights to having a wonderful picnic blanket chat and spotting fun characters like our big lion friend, our little explorers are thriving on learning beyond the classroom.
Excursions like these build confidence, social connections, and a deep appreciation for our wonderful local environment!

ππ¦· Crunching, Munching, and Smiling Bright in Kindy! π¦·π§
At Journey Early Learning Nightcliff, our Kinder+ program goes beyond the basics to help children build lifelong healthy habits!
Recently, our Kindy group had an absolute blast exploring the connection between what we eat and keeping our smiles sparkling clean. Through interactive storytelling and our special "happy and sad tooth" sorting game, children practiced critical thinking as they identified healthy food and drink choices and discovered how to care for their bodies.
From building self-help skills to fostering early health awareness, every day in Kindy is an exciting step toward big-school readiness! πβ¨
