Thalia is a proud Warumungu and Luritja student from Tennant Creek and Alice Springs, taking part in the First Nations Health Pathways Program.

For Thalia, one of the best parts of the program has been meeting new people, making friends and building her knowledge along the way.

Her advice for other students thinking about giving it a go? Do it! 🙌🏽 It’s a great opportunity to learn new things, gain experience and connect with others.

📸 Garma Festival 2026 | Part 2

We’re back with more moments from Garma! ❤️🖤💛

It was such a privilege to spend time at Garma Festival alongside community, students, educators, families and so many incredible people.

It was also great to see the CDU First Nations Training and Teacher Education Hub, CDU First Nations Health Hub and CDU First Nations Leadership team coming together at Garma to promote the new First Nations pathways at Charles Darwin University.

Together, we were able to connect with people, share opportunities and talk about pathways into higher education across education, health and beyond.

These moments are about more than taking photos. They’re about connection, community, culture and creating opportunities for the next generation.
