🛡️ Child Protection Week at OLSH 💙❤️

This week at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, Darra, we are recognising Child Protection Week by exploring the many ways we can be safe and help others stay safe.

This Thursday at 8:45am, our Year 5 students will lead a special assembly highlighting the importance of child safety, respectful relationships, and speaking up when we need help.

Following the assembly, we warmly invite parents and carers to join us for morning tea, providing an opportunity to continue these important conversations and strengthen our shared commitment to keeping all children safe.

We look forward to coming together as a community to support the wellbeing and safety of every child. đź’™

đź’ś BULLYING NO WAY WEEK đź’›

This week, 17–21 August, we join schools across Australia to say NO to bullying and YES to kindness, inclusion and respect.

The 2026 theme, “Small Acts, Big Impact,” reminds us that even the smallest actions can change someone’s day—and sometimes their world.

🫶 Include someone
đź“Ł Speak up
đź’› Show kindness
đź‘€ Look out for one another

Together, we can make OLSH a place where everyone feels safe, valued and that they truly belong. Because at OLSH, we are Heart People—Created to Love.
