HOSCA HOSCA is a not for profit before and After school childcare service based in the Perth Hills. We currently have two services.

Darlington Service: 545 Glen Rd, Darlington

Mundaring Service: 200 Coolgardie St, Mundaring (on campus at Sacred Heart Primary) At HOSCA we believe in an environment of choice, full of activity and options. The environment reflects the values which lead our organisation; Trust, Respect, Choice, Equity and Inclusion. HOSCA incorporates current understandings of the importance of middle childhood,

providing quality care to children from Kindergarten to year level 8. We provide this by ensuring an understanding, supportive and nurturing environment which considers children’s personal circumstances and interests. This allows us to provide the children with resources, flexibility and opportunities for learning through play accordingly. The Early Years Learning Framework along with My Time, Our Place guides educators to provide opportunities to children, which are meaningful, stimulating, developmentally appropriate and inclusive. The holistic approach used by HOSCA educators assists children to learn responsibility, independence, social skills and respect for others and self. We seek to balance rights with responsibilities and promote on an overall non-discriminatory environment. Hosca is licensed under and complies with the community services (Outside School Hours Care) regulations 2012.

So today at Hosca Darlington this happened and we needed to evacuate, we got the call before the end of school so we’re able to coordinate picking up children from schools and straight to Hosca Mundaring where we were met with open arms. The Educators at Darlington were professional and the evacuation was smooth. We hope the fire does no damage to our wonderful community and as always thank you to emergency services and firies along with Dee and Alan at the Mundaring Shire for their updates that supported our decision to leave. Families we would love to hear your feedback on how you found this experience too please.

Friday at Hosca Darlington was Tinkering Day.

Some children are super curious about how things work and how they are made. Some of our children today, spent hours taking old electrical items apart!

The next challenge was to make something new with all the interesting pieces.
O and F made a new gaming console from a pool pump and an old controller!
