- Kindergarten/Year 1 visit to Waddi -
Our students had a wonderful time visiting the Waddi cultural centre as part of our Geography learning about Special Places, with a particular focus on Aboriginal places and culture. The excursion was a fantastic opportunity for students to learn more about Aboriginal culture and the importance of special places in our community. They learnt lots of new and interesting things while enjoying an educational, engaging and fun experience. A big thank you to Margie Gilbert and Miss Annie Mitchell who organised and supported this excursion and made the day so special for our students!

🎣Today our Year 5/6 students travelled to the Whitton Malthouse to take part in the Junior River Ranger Program. Thanks to Brett Smith and his knowledgeable assistants from the Darlington Point Riverina Fishing Classic and Apex the students were shown the skills and techniques needed for fishing. Brett shared his knowledge of fishing and Wiradjuri cultural connections. It was a great day and even though our students didn’t land a fish we had an entertaining, educational and engaging excursion🎣
