Our preschool will be closed on Wednesday 2 September and Thursday 3 September to allow our educators to participate in professional development training.

Professional development is an important part of ensuring our team continues to provide high-quality education and care. Through ongoing training, educators build their knowledge, strengthen their teaching practices, and learn new ways to support children’s learning, wellbeing, inclusion, and development.

🌟 Wow! What an exciting couple of weeks we’ve had at preschool! Term 3 is off to a fantastic start! 🎉

Last week was packed with activities: we attended the Healthy Informed Families event at Dareton Public School, had a cozy PJ Day, celebrated at the SuniTAFE NAIDOC event, and wrapped up the week participating in the Connected Beginnings Mildura First Steps to Learning event! Along with all this, we engaged in fun learning activities that sparked creativity and curiosity.

🌟 Celebrating National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children’s Day! 🌟

We are excited to share that our preschool is participating in the In Our Words – Children’s Day Postcard Project! 🎉

As part of our celebration, the children will create beautiful artwork and stories that will be transformed into keepsake postcards. This project is a wonderful opportunity for our little ones to express their creativity and learn about culture.

To participate, we’ll need a permission form signed. You can find these forms on the preschool buses in the morning. If you’re happy for your child to join in, please sign the form!

We are thrilled to share that Gyndarna preschool will be involved in the healthy informed families program along with a range of local services. All families are invited to join the Healthy Informed Families Program every Tuesday from 11 AM to 2 PM at the Dareton Public School SACC Room!

This initiative brings together local service providers to share essential information about programs and resources available for families in our community.

✨ What’s in Store:

• Free Lunch for all attendees
• Lucky Door Prizes at each session
• Transport Available for those who need it

This is a wonderful opportunity to learn, ask questions, and connect with other families. We encourage all families to take part in these informative sessions.

Let’s come together and make the most of this fantastic program! We can’t wait to see you there!
