Filipino Nurses for Australia

The nursing profession in general never downsizes – it simply can’t afford to.

"Australia is suffering with quite a severe shortage of nursing staff.I’ve worked in both the private and public sectors in Australia over the last ten years, and I’ve always felt as if my job was very secure. There are always jobs available in some area or other, and while specialty areas fluctuate at times with job availability, there always seems to be nursing jobs available for those who are looking for work, particularly those with a nursing degree"- www.nurseinaustralia.com

HOW TO AVOID AN IMMIGRATION SCAMMER?

Immigration practitioners in Australia are called Registered Migration Agents and they are registered with the (OMARA) Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority.

Registered Migration Agents are well qualified and can provide good services to prospective immigrants. However, there are some unscrupulous people who take advantage of immigrants.

Before you make a decision to get assistance with immigration matters, and before you pay any money, you must do some research so you can make the right decision about what kind of legal and immigration assistance you need. Protect yourself from becoming a victim of immigration fraud.

Immigration Fraud and Fake Migration Agents

The Department of Immigration and Border Protection in Australia is warning that there are a number of scams which target people looking for visas and jobs.
‘We have been made aware of a wave of scam phone calls currently taking place. The people making these phone calls are impersonating officers from the department or other government organisations,’ a spokesman explained.
Unregistered immigration consultants also work within the industry. They might call themselves 'education agents' or 'student agents' and offer immigration advice as part of their service. They call themselves an immigration agent or consultant.
Unqualified immigration consultants usually charge a fee for shoddy advice and services which they do not have the training or expertise to offer. RMA must have a MARA registration number. In the case of www.prtimmigration.net.au and www.palmsimmigration.com, our RMA registration number is the first thing we provide on our home page. That way, you are receiving advice from the safest, reliable and Australian registered migration agents n the Australian immigration industry. You will usually have to pay more for a Registered Migration Agent. Unregistered agents charge lower fees to attract vulnerable, price-sensitive people. Why risk your future?

Here are some points to remember:
• No private organization or person offering visa or immigration assistance has a special connection with the Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP)
• Ask for their (RMA) Registered Migration Agents number or if they claim that they use the services of a Registered Migration Agent (RMA) in Australia, ask for the Agent’s name, registration number and contact details.
• Do not trust people who guarantee results or faster processing. If you are not eligible for any type of immigration visa, using an immigration lawyer or RMA will not change that.
• Some Consultants, travel agencies, education agents, and some people called notary public offer Australian immigration services. Be sure to ask question about their qualifications and ask copies of their MARA registration certificate or check the OMARA website www.mara.gov.au
• Get a written contract. It should be in English. If you do not understand the contents, get someone who can explain the contents to you. Make sure you understand what you are signing. Contract should list all the services that will be provided to you and the associated cost for its services. Ask for references before you sign the contract.
• Try to avoid paying cash for visa services. Make sure you get a receipt for payment.
• Keep your original documents.
• Never sign a blank form or application form
