๐ง DYSLEXIA IS NOT A MEASURE OF INTELLIGENCE.
Dyslexia has no relationship to IQ. It describes a difference in how the brain processes language โ not how intelligent someone is.
Many highly successful, creative and innovative thinkers are dyslexic. Their strengths can include problem-solving, creativity, visual thinking, big-picture thinking and seeing connections others may miss.
A child who struggles to read is not a child who lacks intelligence.
Sometimes, the brightest minds simply learn differently.
Dyslexic and brilliant. There is no contradiction.
