What does that involve? – Showing the class the steps for each dance and having fun and friendship

How long have you been tutor for this group? – 1 year

How did you become interested in this activity? – By a friend I had run into at an event and just trying not to give up, it takes a few months to get the steps.

What do you think are the benefits of Line Dancing? – Friendship and health

Dogs or cats – None!

Up with the birds or night owl? – Both. Up by 5 and I try to get to bed by 10.

Summer or winter? – Winter really because I don’t feel the cold so much.

What does that involve? – I research and do a garden talk each month. Discuss gardens and problems.

How long have you been tutor for this group? – 14 years

How did you become interested in this activity? – Lifelong interest.

What do you think are the benefits of gardening? – Good for your mental health, friendship, the joy of watching things grow. I also like the memories that a plant given to me by someone evokes.

What does that involve? – Helping to set and pack up. Instruct new players. Enjoy myself.

How did you become interested in this activity? – Played it once and loved it.

The beginning of term 3 has coincided with some frosty morning's. Thursday's exercise class has embraced the weather and all strive to keep the body moving! Keep up the good work everyone. 😀

What class do you take - Card Making

What does that involve? – Having examples prepared and showing new class members how to do it.

How long have you been tutor for this group – Since 2008

How did you become interested in this activity – I lived in a Retirement Village where a husband and wife showed me how to do it and I became interested. I then joined a craft group in Caboolture and loved it. I had been a high school teacher for over 40 years and really enjoy teaching.
