We value nurturing relationships & giving children the best possible start to life. Busy Bees is NOW CLOSED as I venture into new and exciting challenges. My name is Melanie Brown and I run my family day care service through Kath Dickson as my approved server. I have worked in the childcare industry for the past 11 years and have 3 beautiful children of my own.

Our final Christmas craft activity involved lots of Christmas papers!

We made paper chain decorations to take home. As we made them, we talked about things and people in our lives that we are thankful for. There were some really beautiful responses (and Santa Clause was named too!)

Today was our final visit from our Kath Dickson coordinator Viv as I finish up my Family Daycare service this Thursday.

She brought along some beautiful flowers as a thankyou for the past 5 years I've spent running my very own Family Daycare service.

While the children finished morning-tea this morning, Lily and Sienna began playing animal dominoes. As everyone finished eating and cleaning up, they came over and watched intently. Lily then included everyone in the next few rounds and taught the children how to play. They learnt to wait patiently and take turns as they matched animal faces.

It was wonderful to see this spontaneous activity occur and to see how well the children all interacted with one another!
This is just ONE thing I LOVE about Family Day Care!
