Today the children at Rosies Early Learning were very excited to welcome a very special guest, Councillor Mindy Russell, to present their new shirts. Thanks Mindy for being apart of our community.

Our center has officially been transformed into a magical world of storybook characters!

On Monday, we had our Book Week Parade, and we were completely blown away by the creativity, effort, and imagination on display. From brave superheroes and magical fairies to classic favorites like ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’ and ‘Spot’, our little learners have loved stepping into the shoes of their favorite book characters.

Dressing up is such a wonderful way for children to bring stories to life and express their unique personalities!

Our Leadership Team attended their last face to face session with LAMP (Leadership and Management Program)

Our leaders take every opportunity to learn, reflect and grow - afterall, they are the backbone of Rosie's. However, honouring the significance of children, family, team and community input and partnerships are just as important when it comes to leading an exceeding service.

🐣 What a wonderful time we have had with the Henny Penny Hatching program at Rosie's. The children have been absolutely captivated by the magic of new life.

The program brought a real-life science experience to our little learners, starting with a clear incubator filled with eggs. The children watched with anticipation as the eggs cracked and our tiny feathered friends stepped into the world.

Once hatched, the chicks moved into a brooding pen, giving everyone the chance to observe them growing bigger and fluffier each day.

Through this hands-on experience, the children learned about life cycles, responsibility, and gentle care. They took great pride in checking on the chicks, learning what they need to eat and drink, and observing how they interact with one another. It has sparked so many beautiful conversations about nature, growth, and empathy.

Thank you to the team for caring for the chicks and to all the families who shared in the excitement during drop-offs and pick-ups, and for volunteering to provide a safe home for the chicks. We love creating these unforgettable learning memories for children.

Our second round with Lab Kids was an absolute blast!

The children had the opportunity to explore the concept of air 🌫️and how the amount of force directly impacts the amount of air. What a great way to experiment with cause and effect.

The Tooth Fairy paid a very special visit Rosie's on Monday, bringing lots of excitement, smiles, and magical moments! ✨🦷 The children loved hearing stories about healthy teeth, learning the importance of brushing and caring for their smiles, and meeting our special fairy guest. It was a fun and engaging experience that encouraged good dental habits while sparking imagination and wonder. Thank you to the Tooth Fairy for making today so memorable and helping our little learners shine with confidence and healthy smiles! 💙🪥🧚‍♀️
