🐣 What a wonderful time we have had with the Henny Penny Hatching program at Rosie's. The children have been absolutely captivated by the magic of new life.

The program brought a real-life science experience to our little learners, starting with a clear incubator filled with eggs. The children watched with anticipation as the eggs cracked and our tiny feathered friends stepped into the world.

Once hatched, the chicks moved into a brooding pen, giving everyone the chance to observe them growing bigger and fluffier each day.

Through this hands-on experience, the children learned about life cycles, responsibility, and gentle care. They took great pride in checking on the chicks, learning what they need to eat and drink, and observing how they interact with one another. It has sparked so many beautiful conversations about nature, growth, and empathy.

Thank you to the team for caring for the chicks and to all the families who shared in the excitement during drop-offs and pick-ups, and for volunteering to provide a safe home for the chicks. We love creating these unforgettable learning memories for children.

Our second round with Lab Kids was an absolute blast!

The Tooth Fairy paid a very special visit Rosie's on Monday, bringing lots of excitement, smiles, and magical moments! ✨🦷 The children loved hearing stories about healthy teeth, learning the importance of brushing and caring for their smiles, and meeting our special fairy guest. It was a fun and engaging experience that encouraged good dental habits while sparking imagination and wonder. Thank you to the Tooth Fairy for making today so memorable and helping our little learners shine with confidence and healthy smiles! 💙🪥🧚‍♀️

In this space, art doesn’t stay on tables. It climbs. It hangs. It floats. Large sheets of cardboard sway gently from the ceiling, becoming vertical canvases where children paint upward, sideways, and around — exploring movement, strength, and creativity in new dimensions. Textures, recycled materials, and natural fibres are woven into the space, encouraging children to experiment, collaborate, and express themselves in ways that feel bold and freeing. Every element — the lights, the trays, the art — is designed to honour children’s agency. They choose how to enter the space, how long to stay, what to explore, and how to shape the environment with their ideas. The room becomes a co‑created landscape, shifting with the children’s curiosity, their emotions, their stories, and their play.
