What an incredible Local Clubs Day!

Today, our students proudly showcased the clubs and activities they participate in outside of school, and what a fantastic display it was! From Prep to Year 6, our students represented an amazing 34 local clubs across a wide range of sports and activities.

It was wonderful to see so much pride as students shared their interests, hobbies and achievements with their classmates. From team sports and martial arts to dance, athletics and more, today's celebration highlighted the many ways our students are involved in the local community.

Thank you to all our families for supporting Local Clubs Day and helping us celebrate the importance of community participation, teamwork and friendship. We loved seeing our students wear their club colours with pride!

Celebrate Our Local Sporting and Activity Clubs!

Tomorrow Friday 20 August, let's celebrate the amazing range of local sports and activity clubs our students are involved in! Students are invited to wear the shirt or jersey of the club they actively participate in, whether it's rugby league, AFL, soccer, netball, cricket, volleyball, karate, dance, gymnastics, swimming, little athletics, scouts, or any other community club.

This day is about celebrating the club YOU belong to and participate in, so we encourage students to wear their club shirt with pride and share what they enjoy doing outside of school.

Please note:

Only your club shirt or jersey may be worn. Students must wear the remainder of their normal school uniform, including school shorts/skorts and school hat.
This event celebrates participation in local community clubs and activities, not professional sporting teams. NRL, AFL, A-League or other professional team jerseys are not permitted unless they are your actual club uniform.
All clothing must be school appropriate.
If your club shirt is sleeveless, a suitable shirt must be worn underneath.
Appropriate enclosed school shoes must be worn at all times. Sporting boots, cleats, slides and thongs are not permitted.

We can't wait to see the wide variety of clubs our students are involved in and celebrate the important role community sport and activities play in building confidence, teamwork, friendships and healthy lifestyles. Wear your club colours with pride and help us showcase the many talents and interests of our Daisy Hill State School students!
