Wonderful Wattle presented a fabulous assembly yesterday. We were all amazed by their confident reading and loved hearing all about why they love school- playing, chickens and maths games were high on the list! Huge congratulations to our public speaking champions who head to the next level of competition in a couple of weeks!

Thank you to our wonderful staff and community who showed up and got the job done on our compost and mud kitchen area today. The rain did not detract and only made our working bee more fun! Daceyville Public School looks amazing!

Today’s assembly led by the Eco Leaders was so good! We loved getting together to share our students’ achievements, and there were so many! Our band gave us a taste of what is to come in 18 days at the Big Band Bash. They were great and we can’t wait! Congratulations to our Wattle students who have joined the SRC.

We had a wonderful Public Education Week celebrating learning, looking after our school and connecting with community over a yummy bbq breakfast.

Year 6 First Nations students had an unforgettable day at Nura Gili: Centre for Indigenous Programs at UNSW, celebrating National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children’s Day. They were inspired by powerful speeches from academics and business leaders, who encouraged them to stay curious and pursue their passions throughout their educational journey. Highlights included an exciting electrical engineering workshop, a visit to the maker Space and an impromptu Q&A with a member of UNSW’s Redback Racing team. What an empowering day for our future leaders!
