An exciting day at the Sydney Opera House! Our Year 3 students had a fantastic experience attending a lively performance of Carnival of the Animals, where Saint-Saëns’ classic suite brought roaring lions, leaping kangaroos, and gliding swans vividly to life. Beyond enjoying the wonderful music and theatre, our students represented Saint Michael's brilliantly. Their outstanding behaviour, active listening, and respectful audience manners were an absolute credit to Year 3—well done to all our young theatregoers!

This week marked the final round of the interschool debating competition. Our debaters made remarkable progress throughout the season, constantly refining their arguments, building confidence, and mastering new skills. Special thanks to the students who generously volunteered their time as chairpeople and timekeepers to keep the season running smoothly.

Dingo Day Success!

What a wonderful Dingo Day we had! Our Year 3 students did a fantastic job leading the event, showcasing their knowledge and sharing what they've learned about dingo conservation with an eager Year 2 audience.
Thanks to the generosity of Year 3, we raised over $100 for The Australian Dingo Foundation to support their ongoing conservation efforts.
Thank you to everyone who supported the day and helped make it such a meaningful learning experience!

This morning, our St Michael's community came together for a special Father’s Day breakfast and liturgy to honor the wonderful fathers and father figures among us.
The morning was filled with so much warmth, love, and connection.

What a beautiful day celebrating our Year 3 students' First Eucharist yesterday!
They showed incredible respect and reverence, making it a truly special Sacrament to witness.

Congratulations to all the students who competed at the SCS Sydney Athletics Championships on Friday.
Special mention to Parker who came third with a personal best in both the 800m and 1500m, and the junior boys relay team who also achieved third place.
