Year 4 visited Trinity Murrumburrah this week to celebrate our shared feast day, and despite the rain, we had an absolutely wonderful time. We fed the animals, learned all about sheep shearing, made new friends, and embraced the full farm experience including seeing the robotic farm vehicles! We are truly grateful to our friends in Harden for welcoming us so generously and sharing this special day with us!

It was wonderful to see so many families riding, walking, scooting, and even roller skating to school this morning to celebrate Walk to School day!

Today we celebrate the mothers and special people in our Holy Trinity community who care for and support us each day, showing our values of faith, hope, and love in so many ways. On Friday, our Year 3 students led a beautiful liturgy where these values could be seen and felt throughout.

Afterwards, we welcomed mothers and special friends to our Kitchen Garden for afternoon tea in the sunshine. Thank you to our wonderful families for helping make the day run smoothly.

Yesterday our school community came together to commemorate Anzac Day. We honoured all who have served our nation, and remembered the more than 103,000 Australians who gave their lives. We also held in our thoughts and prayers the families and loved ones of those veterans.

As we reflect on the courage and enduring spirit of the Anzacs, we are reminded of our school values of faith, hope, and love, and the importance of carrying these into our daily lives.

A heartfelt thank you to our Defence families at Holy Trinity for their support in preparing the prayer space and for the important role they play in our community. We also extend our sincere thanks to our Year 6 students, who led the service with such respect and reverence.

Lest we forget.

This week, Holy Trinity came together in prayer and reflection, embracing the beauty of this sacred season. 🌿
On Monday, we began with Palm Sunday, remembering Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem and the hope it brings.
Today, we gathered to honour the Last Supper, and Good Friday, we paused to reflect on the passion and sacrifice of Christ.
May this Easter be a time of peace, renewal, and blessing for all. Wishing our community a safe and joyful Easter. ✝️
