For those of you who don’t know me - I’m Angela. I am a local Thermomix Group Leader and also help the Team of Consultants who live locally. I try to feed my family a variety of nutritious foods that are yummy and mostly, quick and easy to prepare. I think this is important to many in our community and am keen to create a place where like minded people can come to learn new ways to feed our famili

es. The idea is to have a place where people can be introduced to or learn more about cooking with a Thermomix (or similar) and see it in action. New Owners will benefit by seeing and learning more ways to use their Thermomix and everyone can share their ideas to help save time and/or money and generally improve the nutrition in the food they are providing their family. We will be making a handful of different recipes each week, with perhaps a special theme like lunchbox snacks, quick meals, making yoghurt and cheese, gluten-free etc, as well as a few standard items that will be show the versatility of a Thermomix. You will also be able to look at and purchase cookbooks and accessories and have a cuppa and a chat. You are welcome to drop-in for as long as you like - pop in for a minute to say Hello and see what we are up to and browse the cookbooks and accessories, stay a bit longer to learn something new or stay for a while so we can show you how a Thermomix might fit into your lifestyle.

Although I suspect it won't last long again.
It is a limit of one per purchase and the postage is probs $8.95.
Unfortunately, I can't do a bulk buy to save us all on postage etc. Don't know if this will change in the future.
I do like the blade cover but having said that I still haven't used mine a great deal (probs because I haven't down much winter cooking though!)

Also a reminder of how handy Cookidoo is - type "keto" into the search bar, remove "Australia" from the filter and you will get 459 results (ok some are going to be in another language!)

TM6'ers - Two new Functions will be added to your TM next week - you will notice 2 new icons when you swipe left.
The rice mode will allow you to cook (I think) 500g of rice/grains
The thickening mode sounds interesting - I guess it will auto cook until it senses the thickness is just right (eg hollandaise sauce etc).
