A few weeks ago, our preschoolers were very kindly invited by the wonderful local CWA ladies to attend their Biggest Morning Tea at the CWA hall. The event was held to raise much needed funds for the Cancer Council, and we felt very lucky to be included.
The children eagerly walked over with their educators and, as always, represented our preschool beautifully. They sat so respectfully, listened carefully, and showed wonderful manners throughout the visit.
When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the CWA ladies, who had gone to so much effort to make the morning special. Every child was treated to a delicious cupcake that had been specially made to cater for everyone, gluten free, dairy free, and most importantly, absolutely delicious!
Each preschooler proudly placed their coin into the donation box before we listened to a lovely speech about the importance of the Biggest Morning Tea and supporting those affected by cancer.
A huge thank you to the CWA ladies for inviting us to be part of such a meaningful community event. We had a wonderful morning, and we think one preschooler summed it up perfectly when they declared: “It was 5 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
